Play at Horizon Theater "Cowgirls"

During the summer when the classical music concerts become greatly reduced, we will explore other artistic events. This one is a wonderfully funny play about a classical musician trio being mistaken for a Cowgirl trio, and how they learn to adapt for their new concert hall at the Roadhouse.

Book by Betsy Howie

Music by Mary Murfitt

Beethoven meets Blue Grass in this hilarious musical! Back in the saddle for Horizon’s 30th anniversary season, this laugh-filled, toe-tappin’ good time and long-running Off-Broadway hit was a sold-out sensation at Horizon. A trio of classical musicians wind up accidentally booked as the featured act for the grand re-opening of a once Opry-esque roadhouse. The Coghill Trio has been mistaken for the Cowgirl Trio! Can they abandon Handel for Hank Williams and become country music heroines in just 24 hours? Get ready to kick up your heels and lasso up your friends and family for some hoedown hi-jinks in this musical romp.

This play is Sunday, June 1 at 5:00 pm. We will meet at 4:15 pm as it is general admission and we want to get good seats. Also, the box office requires tickets be picked up at least 30 minutes before performance. Purchase Tickets on line at General admission $30.00. Total cost with fees is $35.40. Box off ice[masked]-7450.
