I am psyched about the music that I heard. Unfortunately, I missed almost all of the first half of the performance. That occurred for a variety of reasons, including a terrible traffic jam on I-75 North due to an accident. Despite missing so much of the concert, I loved the portion that I was fortunate enough to hear. I had been tempted to turn around and go back home. I am glad that I didn't choose to do that! This was an extremely ambitious project for these two groups of students at KSU. I thought they did an excellent job, especially considering the scope of the work.

A certain Organizer of this Meetup group is a huge fan of old-school British progressive rock. There have been many attempts at orchestral versions of classic rock songs by various groups over the years and, to be charitable, not all are good. I think this newly-composed work looks like it could make an interesting concert.
