Web Services at Ludicrous Speed

Not only will be be celebrating INETA's 10th birthday (woo-hoo!) but we have a very interesting speaker linked up as well! Lots of cool give aways courtesy of INETA and our many sponsors!

Web Services at Ludicrous Speed

Whether you are building for mobile, client/server desktop, line of business web applications, or the next social media phenomenon, web services continue to be a critical ingredient of scalable architecture. In this talk we will look at the features of ServiceStack, a mature suite of open-source libraries for building “obscenely fast” web services in a very short amount of time.

Our speaker for tonight is David Neal

David is a father, geek, musician, and software developer living near Chattanooga, TN. He has spent the last several years building high-performance, scalable web applications, and currently works at LeanKit as a Developer Advocate. David served as president of the Nashville .NET User Group for 2012 and 2013. David is passionate about software craftsmanship, user experience, music, and bacon. You can find David on Twitter as@reverentgeek.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
