Hiking, camping, fishing, kayaking, stargazing, whatever... I try to be "interested in" everything whether or not I'm experienced at it.
In Georgia, staring across a gently rippled river at the picturesque scene of an invitingly open boxcar on a train stood still just over the riverbank on a deep canvas of trees awash in an idyllic sunset, as though time itself had slowed to stop. The best part was that I didn't have to go out in search of this moment, it was just there on my walk home, and I suspect _that_ is the real beauty of the Southeast - it's all around us (whether we stop to notice it or not)
I suppose, long ago, stupidly jumping off/into a rocky waterfall entirely unprepared for the rocks, the water, or the fall. It probably does not count as adventurous, though, since it wasn't entirely intentional.
We can escape? Really? I'll start the tunnel!

Love the outdoors, but am terrible about making time to actually, well, be outdoors.
