Like something out of a science fiction movie, viewing the architecture of the Atlanta Marriott Marquis is like being transported through time and space. Dynamic angles, incredible perspectives, amazing views, and leading lines as far as the eye can see...it's a photographer's dream. Built in 1985 by Atlanta architect John C. Portman, the Atlanta Marriott Marquis still feels well ahead of its time.
Join us as we will spend 4 hours photographing the interior including the lobby, lower levels, open ballrooms, elevators, bars, and any of the upper floors. As with all my meet ups, I will be there to give hands-on instruction to get the best results though you will be free to explore on your own as well. Arrangements have been made with the hotel to allow us this opportunity and Wednesday was suggested as the best day to hold this meet up as the hotel has the least capacity during this time. I hope you can attend!
Parking is on your own but there are plenty of paid-parking lots including the self-parking deck located near the corner of Peachtree Center Ave. NE & John Portman Boulevard NE.
Please bring your cameras, tripods, memory cards, fresh batteries, remote triggers or cable release, and all lenses.
I will be sending out final details to all attending members before the meet up. If you have any questions beforehand, please email me at [masked].
