Thanks to Don, Dragon, and the others for a great night. Helping me get over the hump of publisher actions is fantastic.

I look forward to seeing everyone at the next Meetup!

It was a wonderful presentation and I was very impressed on how easy it was to create and publish the app. Now if i could just figure out how to distribute it to the customers!!

You were a great group, and I hope you came away with a better idea of what _you_ can do _now_ with Salesforce1, even if you don't think of yourself as a 'mobile developer' or even a 'developer'. Here's the link to the short book on S1; you only really need the first few chapters (50+ pages in the downloadable PDF) to understand the declarative concepts; the rest focuses on Visualforce customization. https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/atlas.en-us.salesforce1.meta/salesforce1/salesforce1_guide_introduction.htm

And if you want to get a better handle on VF, I suggest the free book (also downloadable) we published last year Visualforce in Practice available here: https://developer.salesforce.com/page/Building_Visualforce_Pages_Using_the_Standard_Controller

As well as the Visualforce workbook and other related resources available on developer.salesforce.com!

Jump in - anyone can be a mobile developer for Salesforce1!

I already have a user id for https://developer.salesforce.com
Expected to do anything additional for prerequisite?

We recommend you to register for new developer org but if you want to use your existing org then please make sure Salesforce1 and Chatter Apps package is installed in your org.

I've added agenda for the session. If you're doing the workshop please register for a new developer org prior, the link is provided below. https://developer.salesforce.com/signup?d=70130000000td6N

Another friendly reminder for the folks who responded yes and couldn't make it. Please open that spot to others.

    Looking forward to it!

      Hello Diraj,
Although I am not a salesforce developer I have a sandbox environment which was set up by a friend of mine. Do I still need to register?
I have used their free 30 day trial with my existing email.
I will have to create another one.

      Please let me know.

      Thank You,
      Abraham.

    • Diraj K.

Yes, we still recommend you to register for the developer org because the Salesforce1 package might not be installed in your sandbox.

Hi guys - You don't need to RSVP, if you're just attending for the presentation/networking. If you've already did and not doing the hands-on, can you please open that spot for others. We want get the really count of people doing the hands-on and we've opened up few more spots. Sorry for the confusion. I'll be posting more details and agenda shortly. Thanks for your cooperation!

Hi Dhiraj - any chance you are going to add more attendees to the list? I'm on wait list - thx!

    April 19, 2014

    • Jody C.

I don't need to do the hands on portion. Can we just show up or do we need to do something different?

      April 22, 2014

    • Diraj K.

Hi Jody - You're more than welcome to attend the event for presentation and networking.

      April 22, 2014

  • Jim M.

I am on the waiting list. Does this mean that there is limited seating? When can I find out if I am off the list? Thanks.

I'm looking forward to visiting your Atlanta DUG, meeting your local dev community, and presenting on Salesforce1. You can look forward to getting your hands dirty building out S1 mobile functionality.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
