It was an excellent meeting. Thank you to everyone who read and everyone who gave me feedback. The information was priceless and truly helped with my script. Thank you Nick, the table read was a great idea. I? As also happy see a lot of new faces.

I loved your script. If you drop your protagonist behind those city walls sooner, I plop down my twelve bucks to see your movie. Excellent concept.

As other said, the event was not cancelled. The correct location was listed on the event. I also inserted a note at the top of the event mentioning the change, and I assume the reminder emails had the correct location.

All upcoming meetings are currently booked at Total Wine, but please do read each announcement, not only for location, but other important information.

    Thanks!

Good Morning All, I arrived 06/11/2013 at Total Wine to learn that the meeting for 06/11/2013 at 07:00pm was canceled. I did not receive in communication that this meeting was canceled.

It was actually located less than half a mile away at LA Madeleine. It is going to be located at Total Wine from now on, as is my understanding.

      1 · June 12, 2013

    • Curt S.

Julie - you are correct. ShaJuanda, sorry for the confusion. Total Wine was already booked for 6/11.

Tip of the hat to Geni for efforts in assisting Curt with the insights of the Hero's journey (possibly a description-al phrase that will apply to any of us when we finally sell a script!)

Curt and Nick continue to do a superb job in preparing content, assuring meeting arrangements and conducting the proceedings. I am finding the table reads highly entertaining, intriguing to see the other talent in our group, and the discussion of craft greatly beneficial. (Thanks to the person who brought the actors.)

Also thanks to Curt (with help from Geni) on the nice overview of the Hero's Journey.

AH, I really wanted to go to this one, being that I haven't been to a meeting yet. But TBH, I don't have enough money for gas because the restaurant is an hour away. :c I'll prepare myself better financially for the next meeting.

I likely won't be there either this time, guys. First finished script is in the LAST of the final edits. Should be ready for marketing later this week.
I can certainly use some help and advice on marketing a docudrama movie script.. Michael Brady
