Enjoyed both reads, good stuff! Feedback is so important since most of us are solitary writers. I like the diversity of ideas and in the group. See ya next meeting.

    Jeff Ginn,
Just thought you'd like to know that Wells Fargo and Whole Foods are built by stockholders-grandma, retired teachers, auto mechanics, business owners, housewives, etc. last time I checked they were all common people who put their life savings into companies expecting a return on their investment. One of the major goals of any corporation/ company is to make a profit to pay dividends to the stockholders. If that occurs the circle is complete. What the hell, I'm new to the group but I don't mind speaking up. Soooooo.....what say you?

What’s the trick to writing believable dialogue?
"Write out the scene the way you hear it in your head. Then read it and find the parts where the characters are saying exactly what you want/need them to say for the sake of narrative clarity (e.g., “I’ve secretly loved you all along, but I’ve been too afraid to tell you”). Cut that part out. See what’s left. You’re probably close." - ANDREW BUJALSKI Gets to the heart of what it means to avoid on-the-nose dialog and work with subtext instead.

From this fun article featuring Q/A with 14 successful screenwriters: http://www.nytimes.com/2013/12/01/magazine/14-screenwriters-writing.html?_r=0

Writer's block? Maybe there's "an app for that"! Good list of apps that may be just the thing to help you get over that next hurdle - includes tools not directly related to writing, but still a fun list: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/fueled/the-top-10-apps-for-write_b_3466996.html
