Had a fun time tonight - enjoyed hearing the scenes everyone wrote, and the reading and analysis of Mad Men was great. We'll plan to do a reading of another produced script in the future. Thanks all!

Sorry I can't make it this time, but I'll be attending Tech rehearsals for a 10-minute play of mine that's being produced at Onstage Atlanta on Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday - "A Day at the Park with Treehouse." Come see it if you can!

It's been a long time for me. I have two finished scripts. The one I'll bring some of is HOW THE BLUES CAME UP IN MISSISSIPPI. How much should I bring to have read? Act one, or less? How long do you look for it to be? My email is: [masked].
    Thanks for a prompt reply.

Hello, Michael. A treatment is a summary of your script outline but longer than a synopsis. It can be 4 pages or longer. Please go to http://www.movieoutline.com/articles/how-to-write-a-treatment.html. The article was written by Marilyn Horowitz, author and producer.

Can someone describe to me what a "treatment" is?

Hi all - there has been a bit of confusion about the difference between Table Readings and Studio Meetings. Please read this Discussion page where I lay it all out for you! :)

    Hi Nick,

I'm coming to the meeting on wednesday and I'm excited to see how everything works. I have a comedy book that I self-published and I have two screen plays that I'm working on. So, needless to say, I'm very excited about atteding the meeting.

Okay, so I should attend one meeting first before I submit any writing to you via email - is that correct? I want to be sure that I understand. Thank you for accepting me into the group. I look forward to hearing/reading some screenplays by other members and giving feedback, etc.

    • Nick S.

Hi Mary - Yep! We ask that people attend at least one meeting before submitting a writing. We feel it's best to see what the meetings are like and take part before you commit to a writing. Looking forward to meeting you!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
