More corporations are embracing and implementing social strategies across the organizations. As a result, business intelligence departments are exploring this new medium to see how social communication practices can augment their efforts. More specifically they are looking to understand how a “social layer” within an organization can help a corporation collect important business-impact data that supports better decision-making throughout the enterprise.
Our event’s speakers, bringing years of combined business intelligence, technology and social strategies, will:
· Provide an overview of social strategies and their ability to yield structured and unstructured data critical to excelling in today’s business environment.
· Discuss the combination of social computing concepts with business intelligence capabilities in order to develop an effective social intelligence program within an organization
· Tag social intelligence to CRM data for a three-dimensional view of customer decision-making process.
· Share the business intelligence data obtained during a recent social audit.
THEN, we're going to cut loose for Christmas in July Happy Hour!
July's meeting will be held at Level 3's NOC from 6:30-8--unless we breach 80 RSVPS. Then we will move the venue to accommodate the attendees.
Our panelists/moderator include the following:
Moderator: Dan Webber, Avery Partners
Panelist: Judy Mod, Social Gastronomy
Panelist: Gary Cooper, SENTIMENT360
Panelist: Todd Michaud, FOCUS Brands
Thank you to Judy and Dan for their participation, involvement of the Social Executive Council and for their recommendation on the best way to address BI in the social media space. Our panelists are going to present a case study for discussion, including a separate break out session for attendees. For those of you wanting a more interactive meeting, this is a Must-Attend event for you!
****Please make certain that you RSVP for one or both events as applicable to you. I will be handling reservations separately for both meetings, so it is critical that you RSVP for the one(s) that you plan to attend.
