Teleconference: Stress Coping Techniques For Chronic Pain

Hello Chronic Pain Super Hero's,

Every one of us has certain things in our life that cause us stress. If you're someone suffering from a chronic pain condition, you're undoubtedly under a lot of stress.

One thing I find interesting is that two people that have similar stressors in their life, such as chronic, may interpret their pain very differently.  One person may manage their pain well and remain positive and optimistic about their life. However, the other person with chronic pain may have developed a negative attitude and may have become disillusioned by what lies ahead of them in their life.

What do you think makes the difference in the two people described above?  I believe the answer may lie in the way these people are able to manage their stress and ultimately their attitude about their lives.

  So, I propose that we discuss different ways that we each are able to manage  our stress.  Let's get creative with our coping techniques in managing our chronic pain.
