At the heart of sustainability, lies the simple quest for a better way of life, now, and into the future. Measured primarily in the balanced relationships between the three “E’s:” Economy, Ecology, and Equity.

Economy: to be self-renewing; foster local commodities; and ensure self- reliance.

Ecology: to understand that nature has its threshold capacities, while protecting and building natural resources in order to create a holistic balance between man and nature.

Equity: to provide full opportunity for access and engagement in activities, benefits, and invaluable decision-making strategies for a society.

We seek to ensure that people’s needs, hopes, and dreams are obtainable through thorough understandings of these inter-dependencies. Our mission is to build friendly and sustainable fellowships through the passionate exchanges of knowledge and shared expertise.

We may have scheduled meeting with guest speaker’s appearance from a quantifiable expert in his or her field. We learn. We share our knowledge and help benefit our Atlanta and metro Atlanta communities with our shared interest in environmental sustainability. We offer the ability to get involved in action service in sustainability.

From time to time, we travel to local areas in search of new skills, new finds, and new understandings: an organic farm, a cannery, a renewable eco-site, a market, a study on perma-culture, or a heritage crafts lesson.

We hope that you will join our circle of friends soon!
