Great Trip to the Cannery on 4/27/2013

Thanks to everyone who came out on Saturday to can some long-term food storage for themselves and our team. We had a lot of fun and took home some supplies that will add to our food stores.

I have added a few pictures of our trip, for those who didn't make it, but want to see how it worked."

You have to love the "Lunch Lady Look" that everyone had while canning the food.

The procedure for the LDS cannery will be changing in July 2013. They (LDS) has outsourced all of their canning to an outside firm. After July 1st, we will be able to come the LDS location in Tucker and purchase the same supplies that we got this weekend, but they will already be in #10 cans. They indicated that they were able to get their pricing even lower through the use of the outside canning contract.

Hope everyone enjoys the pictures. Thanks again for everyone's support for this cannery trip. Robert
