How long have you been using Unix?

Use Linux exclusively for personal computing, first install in 1998 - RH5.0. Took a few years off, then picked up again in 2004 and been going since - hard to believe it's been 8 years! We use Solaris at work to test Sun hardware and we have dabbled with the occasional AIX install to test equipment. Current personal project is a network device test app that uses the serial port to send commands and eventually will encompass a full test environment.

Introduction

I would put myself more in the Linux enthusiast category than anything else, but we use Unix at work for testing hardware. We use a Jumpstart server installed on Debian (gasp!) to load Solaris images to test Sun servers.
