This event is being hosted by the Atlanta HTML5 User Group, this is a courtesy crosspost.
In contrast to bulky MV* frameworks, Facebook's React library was built for solving a very specific problem: quickly rendering complex User Interfaces. React's declarative syntax gives developers a simple way to create reactive UI components. In this session, you'll learn how to build simple applications with React, use JSX for templating, and debug with React Developer Tools for Chrome. Additionally, we'll discuss some of the techniques under the hood of the React library, such as Virtual DOM and Synthetic Events.
