Out of Context Web & App reviews

  • Jun 18, 2012 · 7:00 PM

This will be an open group discussion on current experience, usability and interface trends. As a collective whole we'll go through a handful of websites and applications and quickly do a heuristic evaluation.

Having an understanding that snap judgments may be useful and unavoidable but knowing when it comes to reviewing websites professionally, we need to be more organized and thorough, and we do this by using a review methodology. Since there are so many things to consider and look at in websites it is still preferred to use a formulaic and consisten approach even though much of the information is qualitative and quantitative.

The only thing that needed to happen was that things in the beginning should have been clearly defined to eliminate the confusion.
