Hello everyone,

I wanted to fill in some details on the UX lead role I mentioned at the meetup last night. If anyone is interested, please reach out. The position is based near Northside and 285.

As the founding member of this design team, you will ensure that the our system is also the most enjoyable to use. Their customers occasionally have complicated & demanding needs, but you will ensure the products are clean, simple and intuitive. You will work with both Product and Engineering teams to design and create compelling UX and help to move this along by wireframing and prototyping new products & enhancements.

It's required that you have a "get it done" attitude and can seamlessly and independently manage and lead projects across this client's entire product suite-desktop, web and mobile.

Responsibilities *Translate requirements into concepts and elegant user experience design. *Create interaction models, user task flows, screen designs, and UI details that promote ease of use and optimize the user experience. *Create clickable prototypes using the technologies and/or tools you are most comfortable with (e.g. HTML/CSS/JS, Keynote, Axure, etc.). *Communicate your design thinking in a way that works for all the parties involved (management, engineers, product managers, etc.) through appropriately detailed specifications and reviews. *Creation of UIs, color palettes, typography, iconography, final production assets, wireframes, system flows, prototypes, while monitoring design consistency across all projects.

Requirements *5+ years experience designing great user experiences for commercially successful desktop and/or mobile products. *Online portfolio with a range of interactive samples. *Desire and ability to sweat the details. *Excellent collaborative skills. *An unbridled thirst and passion for learning.

Bonuses *Experience designing and/or using trading systems (consumer or commercial). *Ability to code and prototype using HTML/CSS and JavaScript. *Experience with graphic design (new color schemes, updating look & feel of older looking applications) *Experience growing and building a design team.
