Marketing Plans & Metrics (2014 Guide to Marketing Series–Part 2/3)

Would someone else hire you as a Chief Marketing Officer? If not, you should probably join us for this session. Most entrepreneurs have never been in charge of marketing for a business. In this session, we’re going to break down marketing as a process, look at it in phases, and talk about marketing planning and optimization. We’ll talk about some basic metrics you should track and walk through a couple of actual business cases. As always, this session will be part presentation and part group discussion. Please bring your own questions and be ready to discuss your personal business experiences. I’ll prep a presentation based on my own experiences (banking, PE/VC, biz dev) and training (Northwestern/Kellogg MBA). 

This is my 2nd time doing this Guide to Marketing Series. The first time around was very well received, so I’m making some changes (thanks for the feedback!). This 3-part series will have repeat sessions at convenient times. You can come to the first session (hosted during the week at Hypepotamus) or the repeat session on Saturday mornings (hosted at different local libraries, see below).
