Douglas Knudsen presentes:

My how the daily web developers workflow has changed! Not only has the tool set grown in richness, diversity has struct and left us with a plethora of tools to do our daily jobs.  Stop by and hear me cover the gamut of these tools from SublimeText to WebStorm, Yeoman, CodeKit, npm, and the like.  You want LESS or SASS with that?  We will even try to grunt with a straight face!  You will hear about a cool bird Chrome Canary and not get stuck in a mine checking out profiling, inspecting, and live editing.  Drop in as I describe an d introduce some of these new tools you should include in your daily work flow.

I was talking up Sublime Text to my co-worker. Tomorrow is my birthday, so he bought it for me!

On one of the two or three browser tabs I had opened, I had this
    Meant to share last night.
This is a nifty project for pulling down free MS VMs for testing in various version of IE using a VM.

Cameron shared that (or something similar) last week w me at cflunch. I needed to test something on a real ie8 machine. One curl command later, I had a running ie8 vm (on virtual box).

Thanks All! Sorry we ran long, had a wee bit to cover! Here are the slides, no way I can find to attach something here, so I used DropBox

As I said last night, I'd be happy to chat about Angular directly or BackBone in the coming months, preferably the former :) Maybe June or July if the schedule is up for it here. peas

Thanks Doug.js And good to see everyone ;) That was a ton to cover I know but I appreciated the overview. It's crazy how many new js frameworks there are -- my brain is still melting. Would love to see an angular focused presentation sometime. Planning on loading up some Sublime!

Thanks Doug! Awesome information on so many popular resources, I'd definitely like to hear more about... well... about any of the things covered! Good intro, too bad we ran out of time! I'm playing around with Sublime Web Inspector now, very cool!
