October Games Night

First Saturday in October

Frugal Fun Day is a day to enjoy fun activities that are very inexpensive. If you use your imagination, the ideas are endless. Go on a bike or walking hike. The Fall leaves are on display. Have a picnic in the park, or your back yard. Invite some friends or neighbors over for a garage party and dance. Go fly a kite. Pull out the those old board games or puzzles that you have stored in the basement. Play cards with some friends.

This day is made for us, so lets play.

Cover charge $2.00.

Potluck at 6PM

Games at 7PM

House Notes:
We have 3 cats and 3 birds if you have allergies, and request that you do not bring shellfish or pork to the potluck. Also you can bring kids to our house, please do not count them in your +1 and drop us a message including name sex and age.

That was fun, it was the night of card games. We started with the play testing and then just kept playing card games.

I'm still dealing with some health issues that took me out of last month's game night. If I can make it, no cooking or baking this time, so a Publix BOGO is about as frugal as I can get.

By the way, we received a card game from called PiecebyPiece to play test I have two versions for each table so we can try it first.

I will put together a five ingredient dish in my crockpot called creamy chicken casserole. It doesn't get much simpler or thriftier than that.

I'm still working on procrastinating from September Games Night! I think I might put together a batch of Brookies (or Crownies, if you prefer) which are brownies on the bottom and cookies on the top, baked together in a muffin cup. YUM!

    Is this thing on?

The frugalist food I could think of was ramen noodles. I decided that was a little boring for my taste so I'm going to do a little frugal gourmet with it. I'm going to turn it into a little Vietnamese pho. Your challenge what kind of frugal gourmet can you come up with?
