HTML5 App Trainings - Dec. 4 - 5

  • December 4, 2013 · 8:00 AM

You can join the class either Wednesday Dec. 4 in Cumberland:

http://apigee-cumberland-2013.eventbrite.com/

… Or Thursday Dec. 5 in Atlanta:

http://apigee-atlanta-2013.eventbrite.com/

(Same content on either day.)

Premise is simple: in one day, you’ll learn everything you need to know to build your first HTML5 Mobile App, including: HTML & JavaScript basics, PhoneGap, jQuery, jQuery Mobile, and how to use a backend-as-a-service. The classes are completely free (and all the software & services we’ll be using are too — most of them are even open-source).

I am so sorry I missed this. I wish I would have had time off at work because I think it could have filled in a few knowledge gaps I have in making apps. I hope they offer it again in the area and hopefully sooner than another year. Sounds like just what I need. Thanks for posting about it

Based on the below testimonials, I pray that this is offered again. I feel like I missed out an amazing learning experience!

To quote a famous line from Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid, "WOW, who ARE these guys?" Not only were the technical content, speaker, and venue excellent, but the training, lunch, and even beer afterwards were all FREE! What the ... ? Totally unexpected, but very much appreciated! Thanks, Alex, for a great presentation, and thanks, Apigee, for providing us all this great content and hospitality.

    hello y'all;

I attended 1 1/2 days of this training and let me say that I was supper impressed by the presentations, resources, food and in general how well Apigee treated all of us who attended the meeting. I certainly i'm glad I took the time to attend.

Both Instructors know their stuff and made experts of us novices in the new mobile discipline and I know it will help me tremendously in my consulting gigs where now I can actually say I've build apps for both droid and iOS and know how to go from A to J at least.

they made phoneGap look easy even in the Windows world.

Can't wait to get going on my first real app...

Also the free Apigee cloud storage feature is awesome and I will explore it more on the comming days.

If this meetup is re-scheduled, I certainly recommend it to all parties interested in getting started with mobile apps.

    Regards,

    Carlos

I hope this will be schedule again in the near future. I would really love to get experience using these languages and tools in web/mobile application development.
