Re: [javascript-17] Leveraging the JavaScript Meetup Mailing List

Hi Jaye,

I'd also love to have some communication with my fellow local
JavaScripters. Here are my thoughts on your questions:

1) I haven't actually used StackOverflow much for JavaScript
questions. There's already a big enough base of JS knowledge out there
that I've been pretty lucky finding information from a web search. I
have found StackOverflow quite helpful for Python questions though.

2) I haven't tried the JQuery podcast since I work mostly with Dojo or
Prototype. I'd like to pick up JQuery at some point in the future
since it's so popular.

3) Right now I'm using Dojo shrinksafe for deployment. From what I've
seen around the web, the Closure compiler is giving impressive
compression results, so maybe I'll try it soon. There's actually a
switch recently added to the Dojo build tools to switch compressors
