Great to here from you. My background is more Oracle RDBMS, but I have done a few small projects on MySQL. Currently, I have it running on my Ubuntu Server along with Glassfish. Been along time Java user so I have done Perl more kicking and screaming than anything else. I do like its power, and simplicity.
