Troszke o programie:
The concert will focus on the aspect of Baroque music that originated for the most basic human
need -that of dance. Gigue was a popular dance marking the end of a musical spectacle. Gigue
in Bb major will be performed both by a student Eliza Folkert, and by the jazz trio. Classical
pieces will be followed by modern arrangements of both classical and jazz standards.
