Hikers' Happy Hour!

Come out for great food and drink while you meet your fellow hikers, bikers, and paddlers!

Outdoor Club South is Atlanta's best social network for those who love the outdoors and the wonderful adventure opportunities nature provides. That's why our Hikers' Happy Hours are such fun events. We get together to talk about our past adventures and start planning for future events. This is a great time to meet with others who share your passion for the great outdoors.  Whether you're new to the group or you've been on many adventures with us, you'll have a great evening mixing and mingling with other adventure minded members.  Bring your event ideas!

As usual we'll be giving away a $25 REI card too!

Marlow's Tavern has great food and beer!  It's bar food with style!

Sorry I missed the event; had a meeting run late then, embarrassingly, could not find the pub (new to this area). Catch y'all next time!

I am still at work with another half hour to go. I think it might be too late for me to join by the time I finish. I will try to make the next meeting or catch up with someone to see if I can support the group after the meeting.

Hi Jackie! First, come out to one of the socials so you can meet other paddlers of all experience levels. You don't need a license but I do recommend taking a beginner course so you can enjoy paddling safely. Once it warms up a bit more we will be posting beginner courses led by John Miller. He will teach you the basics including entering and exiting the boat, basic paddle strokes, safety, and he will help you figue out if you want to be a flat water or whitewater paddler.
