What are your favorite subjects regarding science?

environment, cognitive neuroscience

Where do you currently get your science news?

Internet articles

What do you think will make science more appreciated and interesting to the general public?

Real (not words about, not tricks) discrepant events where children and/or adults experience a contradiction between what they expect and what actually occurs. Used this style with teacher wanna-be's and they became enthusiastic K-5 science teachers.

To hold my own at family events. My daughter-in-law is a biologist/chemist/environmentalist; my other son is a polymer engineer.
