Well with the Science Channel, NatGeo, Discovery channels many people have been exposed to Science/Nature experiences that could spark an interest. I have noticed reality programming is taking over on these channels as well which is very frustrating. I guess they go with the moneymakers. I am sick of the "Science of Survival" LOL and basically the other reality shows on these channels are rubbish. There is always documentary.net on your ipad or computer. With the Internet there is a vast network of highly technical science resources to explore and many with apps which I love as well. Once the spark is lit, many people will gravitate toward Science and how imperative it is in our surviving Global Warming, conquering disease and advancing our species. Creating groups like this one is cool as well but we are already Science lovers and just need to invite a friend and spread the word!
Science enthusiast who is very inquisitive and enjoys Science and History. Basically consider myself an information addict. I learn from the presentations I attend but also from the other members I meet. I love this group!
Met some great people and look forward to seeing them again and attending some future events with them.
