Introduction
I am retired military, 3 grown daughters, I am ending my 2nd year of college. Just want to be around interesting people who like the same things.
What are your favorite subjects regarding science?
Not sure. Probably the "how something works"
Where do you currently get your science news?
I get it as it is readily available not particular, a lot from my brother who works on the Hubble Telescope.
What do you think will make science more appreciated and interesting to the general public?
Just need to get the knowledge out in front pushed past the who's who in American Drama. The more you know the more you want to know..

Hi Karen; I've been there, done that. Whitewater kayaking on the Chattooga River, riding my bicycle on the Swamp Rabbit Trail, hiking Table Rock, Paris Mountain, and Chattooga River corridor trails. Used to camp out along the Chattooga. I'd still like to do more great outdoors stuff while I'm still able to do it. Must remember to throw in a writing pad to record my inspirations. I'm a freelance writer.
