Molecular & Cellular Biology are key areas of interest, followed by Evolution, Genetics, Evolutionary Psychology and Cognitive Science. Of recent, I'm working to deepen my understanding of Physics to connect a few more dots. So it may be more accurate to simply say, my interest is science in general.
Primarily through online resources.
This is a great question and is at the heart of a science literacy project currently under development. For the layman, scientific concepts are often difficult to genuinely understand. They may accept an explanation but never actually understand why it's true. Far too often the general public accept (simplistic) bad explanations from sources they believe to be credible. We must find methods of explaining difficult concepts in a manner that at once builds understanding and provide the requisite fundamentals upon which that understanding is built. A tall order yes, but a challenge worth meeting.
There are few things more beautiful than the face of nature illuminated by science.
