January Skeptics in the Pub
Hi all! Welcome to 2010! We're kicking off the year with a talk from our own LaVerne Knight-West.
LaVerne is new to the world of organized skepticism, having just discovered us at last year's SkeptiCamp. She will talk about what she's learned since then, how it's affected her life, and trials and treasures during her year as a Virgin Skeptic.
Come join us at Manual's Tavern and get the year rolling right. It may still be cold outside, so come share your body heat and your company!
Doors open at 7:00pm, and the program gets underway at about 8:00pm.

Larger place next time - AFS Hall is available for a nominal donation, say a dollar or two per person. Located on N. Church Road in Smyrna, just off of S. Atlanta Road, inside the perimeter. The hall is an old Church that has been renovated and has room for at least 150. Also has a sound system for guest speakers.
