best way to upgrade to Eclipse 3.7 and STS 2.7.0?

I am interested in having the same setup as a new STS 2.7.0 install on Mac OS X.
However, since I already have an older version of STS installed, how do I get there?

I ran "Check for Updates" to easily upgrade STS to 2.7.0

However, I am pretty sure I did not get these updates referenced by the STS 2.7.0 announcement:
- "Ships on top of Eclipse Indigo (3.7)" (looks like I have 3.6.2)
- "Includes Mylyn 3.6 and EGit 1.0" (looks like I have Mylyn 3.4.3...and I do not see EGit installed)

In an attempt to upgrade these other components, I went to "Install New Software..." and added http://download.eclip...

This is where I got stuck...I did not know which of the over 200 items to select (-:
I feel like I need a "show items already installed" button.
Interestingly, I did not see the Eclipse Platform in the list.

Is there a better way?
