Boxerstock 2012: Music Festival + Off-Leash Dog Parks!

Join us October 21st at Atlanta Boxer Rescue’s Boxerstock Music Festival!!

Atlanta Boxer Rescue, Inc., will hold its fifth annual Boxerstock music festival on Sunday, October 21, from noon until 6 PM, at Jim Miller Park in Marietta. Paces Ferry Veterinary Clinic returns as the presenting sponsor of this year's event. Ticket prices are $10 for adults and only $5 for children under 12, students and members of the military with proper ID. Kids 4 and under are free. Groups are welcome and packages of 10 tickets can be purchased at a discount (10 for $90). All proceeds from Boxerstock will go toward Atlanta Boxer Rescue efforts and pet owner education.

Boxerstock is a family-friendly event, so bring the whole family out for a day of music and fun. In addition to the incredible lineup of musicians, there will be children’s activities, food vendors, canine demonstrations, a silent auction and more! Four-legged family members are welcome too!  Well-behaved dogs of all breeds and sizes are welcome on leash and may also roam free in the Boxerstock Off-Leash Dog Parks!

There are six amazing bands playing, including Kick The Robot, 10 Miles of Blue, JP Blues Band, The Deadfields, Erik Smallwood and Davin McCoy! It's going to be tons of fun, so make sure you mark the date on your calendar now!

Other activities include:
  • Live music all day from some of the south’s most talented performers
  • Comedienne Shelly Ryan as emcee to keep the audience entertained between acts
  • Silent auction
  • Concession Stands
  • Children’s games and activities at our Kids’ Village
  • Canine agility, obedience and nosework demonstrations all day
  • Off-leash Dog Parks (separate small dog area and large dog area)

Now that I am out of the Petsmart corporate gig, I can start making these kind of things. So unless someone with a problem pooch schedules a training session that day, I will be there.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
