I am getting a new dog next thursday after 5 dogless years and I want Golbi to have some free wheeling socialization with his peers.

How many dogs do you have? Please tell us about your dog(s)!

I have one dog. A labradoodle. I teach high school biology in Gwinnett County. I also have 6 cats. I love them dearly but they don't want to run with me and have no interest in street cafes or car rides.

Hi, I am a new member contacting you and the other organizers to find out how I might not only enjoy your intellectual events, but offer my services as an academician and lecturer. I could present on my 15 year longitudinal study of polyamorous families with children, and how the strategies successful poly families use could be applicable for monogamous families. You can find my CV and more information at

    Cheers, Elisabeth Sheff

Hi Carol, I found Jim and Bill to be very good company, I had a lot of fun! Between their experiences in education, and their previous and future travel plans, they were very interesting to talk to. I hope I can come to future Science Tavern meetups, I will as long as they don't conflict with work - unfortunately I work most Saturday evenings!

Haha, your dog tried to jump in the raft and leave with us! He was sooo in love with Venkman; he even stood on the shore and watched us as we rowed away. I half expected him to try swimming across the lake! He was so funny!

    Hello Carol,

Yes, I really enjoyed this talk, It is like being an Extra-Terrestrial sometimes just speaking about Evolution and other Primates even with some scientists but not those ones talking (check out the link) !

    Regards my friend !

That's awesome. Can't wait to meet you and your labradoodle at one of the meetups. That must be pretty exciting after 5 years so congratulations on your new family member.
