I have two cocker spaniels. I'm a dog fan and have never in my life been without at least one dog, generally two or three. I don't think of them as children (I already have children) but as amiable friends. I would only bring one dog at a time to any dog events, because it's easier to concentrate on one. We haven't done much dog socializing, so we'll be practicing before we attend at a dog park in Clarkston. Both are male and one is not neutered and until I am comfortable, I may keep them ON the leash. My dogs like mud, squirrel-chasing, finding yucky things to chew on, defending their chew toys from each other, sitting on my lap when I am reading, and both enjoy fetching. One is terrified of water and one loves it. One is an American Cocker and one is a British Cocker. Both black and white.
My name is Debbie Gathmann. I am the Head of School for an elementary school in East Atlanta. I am also an artist, dog person, and environmental educator. I like to hike andam an avid, almost obsessed, bird watcher and gardener. I live in Clarkston.
