Vegan Thai Dinner at Thai House in Roswell

Most Thai restaurants are veggie-friendly, but Thai House is the only Thai restaurant in metro Atlanta that has a vegetarian menu---with 27 items!  25 of them are vegan.  All are delicious.  It's one of the few places that has vegan soup tom yum or coconut soup in the flaming pots.  Prices are reasonable.  Food can be made mild or spicy.  Besides tofu, they offer two vegan options that I've not found anywhere else:

Sue-Gai made from soy bean, vegetable fiber, flour, soy sauce & vegetable oil.
Sue-Yi made from seaweed, ginger, salt, soy bean, soybean fiber & vegetable oil.

Please remember that we will be ordering ONLY vegetarian/vegan dishes.  Menu here:

Before dinner, feel free to join me at a free organ concert at Roswell United Methodist Church.  It will be from 4 to 5:30, right down the street from the restaurant.

If you are coming to the performance, let me know and we can meet at the church.

This restaurant is usually quite popular.  Spaces will be reserved for the most reliable people.  If you have been a chronic or recent No Show, if the event fills up, you will be moved to the waiting list so others who will definitely honor their RSVP can attend.  Thanks for your understanding about this.

Food was delicious, but I still wish that we could figure out a better way to interact with all attendees. While I enjoyed the conversations at the end of the table, I'd like to meet more people :-) Next time I guess I'll just have to get up and move, haha.

I just tried to make the drive in the downpour and found out I have to get new windshield wipers... I made it back home, all dressed up, soaking wet, and disappointed! I'm sorry I won't be there! I would much rather spend $40 on Thai food than windshield wipers. :(

I absolutely adore Thai food, and I am thrilled to finally have the chance to make it to a dinner with some like-minded individuals! My work and location has kept me from attending any events, but this one is close enough and 3 weeks away, so I will be able to request off. Looking forward to meeting everyone!

Excellent, Stacy! We look forward to meeting you. Thai food is in a class by itself, isn't it? I can't imagine anyone not liking it!

Excellent, Dayle! I will send you the info via e-mail, but it's also under the Classical Music Meetup.

Hi Ellen, I am also interested in the organ concert and in fact, I joined the classical music meetup. I guess I will see you there! Thanks

It seems to be unique to Thai House, Mark. I had never heard of it either.

I never heard of Sue-Gai and Sue-Yi. I am glad I get to expand my horizons.
