This month you get to sizzle with the summer heat with Thai Delights. It is truly difficult to find vegan Thai food at Thai restaurants because most Thai restaurants put fish or shrimp paste in all their dishes, plus they can be super spicy! Next time you crave Thai food, just make it yourself! These dishes are so easy to prepare, full of nutrients –they’re vegan of course –plus flavorful without too much heat. Come get your healthy dose of protein and amino acids with this month’s healthy ingredients like quinoa, tempeh & tofu.Whenever I want a quick, healthy, and tasty meal, I cook these dishes! Plus as always you may learn something new with our mini-health seminar.
Here are the dishes you will learn to prepare:
1. "Thai Tempeh with Quinoa in a savory peanut sauce"
A Medley of marinated tempeh with aromatic cilantro, quinoa, broccoli, cabbage & carrots sautéed in a savory peanut sauce.
2. "Quick Tom Yum Miso Noodle Soup"
A Thai hot and sour noodle soup seasoned with lemon grass, chili, lime juice,cilantro and scallions with an added twist of miso, vegan shrimp (made with soy protein), tofu & spinach.
After the lesson, you will get to sample the dishes prepared.
