This month you will learn to prepare quick popular pasta dishes which are comfort foods to many. We will use vegan ingredients to make those creamy rich sauces. Instead of regular starchy pastas, we will use brown rice pasta-more nutritious and half the calories of regular pasta - plus GLUTEN FREE! So come learn to enjoy your pasta without feeling guilty –kids will love these recipes too–You’ll never go back to boxed “Mac & Cheese”! Plus as always you may learn something new in our mini-health seminar
Here are the dishes you will learn to prepare:
1."Vegan Fettuccine Alfredo with Sun-dried Tomatoes & Capers"
A raw Alfredo sauce made with succulent sun-dried tomatoes and creamy avocado, tofu & coconut milk on a bed of tender brown rice fettuccine noodles topped with capers and vegan Parmesan - GLUTEN FREE
2. "Vegan Macaroni & Cheeze with Vegan sausages"
A creamy melted vegan cheese sauce with caramelized onions, tossed with elbow macaroni and chunks of flavorful Italian soy sausages.
Note : You might ditch the boxed macaroni cheese when you learn how quick, easy and healthy it is to prepare this vegan version.
After the lesson, you will get to sample the dishes prepared.
