I had a wonderful time seeing (and even petting!) the rescued animals, helping clean up this great center and meeting other animal-lovers!

It was great! I really enjoyed helping Noah's Ark while spending time outside with other people who care about animals. At the end, some of stayed behind to sit at one of the picnic tables, eat some vegan snacks and chat. Fun! I look forward to the next GARP Action Team Hands-On Day.

    Hi Everyone,
We are excited about the volunteer day at Noah's Ark on Saturday and hope for great weather, but please make sure to check the weather and call ahead Saturday morning before driving down there. Noah's Ark closes in inclement weather. It could be nice in Atlanta but raining in Locust Grove or vice-versa. Noah's Ark phone number is[masked]-0888. Thanks!

    Hi Melissa,
Working directly with the animals typically requires time and training. Since this is a large group of people, we are looking for volunteer opportunities that would not require training as it would be too hard to coordinate everyone and we would like to help out many different groups through the year. Georgia Animal Rights and Protection will be partnering with different sanctuaries every quarter for a volunteer day.
