Tuesday July 30th 10:30 AM Piedmont Park Sand Court Volleyball

This is for anyone who knows how to play sand volleyball! Players are expected to pass to and set their teammates (3 hit volleyball), and if still learning how to do that well should still place making an effort to pass and set above scoring points -- this makes for a more fun, competitive game for everyone! Players should be familiar with the rules of sand court volleyball and make an effort to follow the rules, as this makes for a better game and attracts more skilled players.

This chart is a great way to rate your play: http://www.missionbeachvolleyball.com/Pop/Ranking.aspx   Specifically based on this chart alone, players for these meetups are usually B or BB.  This chart includes some players who may describe themselves as C level as B level, so please check the chart before you get discouraged from coming out.  It is recommended that beginners who want to learn come out and watch and get pointers from other players.

I'll bring the vballs I have  -- bring yours if you got em!

If you don't know your way around the park here is the google map and the grey patch inside the "active oval" is the exact location of the courts: https://maps.google.com/maps?q=Piedmont+Ave+%26amp%3B+14th+Street,+Atlanta,+GA

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ: If we don't have at least 4 total players including guests signed up by 9:30 AM before play, then the event may be cancelled. Please sign up so we know you want to play!! Please check the event after say 9:45 AM. [Sometimes if we have 3 players signed up we message and agree to run drills and most of the time we wind up picking up more players and having a game.]

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
