I don't like it, but I have needed to ask some folks to step off the courts that are not consistent "BB players or better," so pleeeease be honest with yourself.

Please note your likely earliest arrival time(s), so everyone can plan around when enough players will be here to start.

The following rules and guidelines have been put in place to help schedule organized events that help match player skill levels and minimize no-shows and late bailers.

Again, this event is for experienced A and BB Players...
If you arrive and realize you are not a good fit, DO NOT PLAY. Strong players know the game well and will move on the court accordingly. Weaker and inexperienced players can make the game dangerous and will lower the fun for other players wanting competitive play. No Bueno!

No attitudes. Play hard, but play nice.

As a courtesy to those signing up -- ONLY those signed up should come.

No-Shows and Late Bailouts hurt the group and can get you banned.

Rules

The Rules that we will be playing by are:

1. No open-handed passing of serves
2. No carries (that includes finger pad dinks or "indoor dinks")
3. No hand setting over the net under any circumstance.
4. No double contacts (a player contacts the ball twice in succession or the ball contacts except in a single attempt on the first ball over).
5. No nets.
6. Sets are called a bit loosely for normal outdoor volleyball, but that being said, no doubles or carries are allowed.
7. Servers adjust so opposing players can see you and the ball clearly.

Feel free to ask those on the court if you can have some extra leniency in order to practice your hand-setting skills.

4US Sports Foundation’s - “Set It Off Volleyball Club” wants to invite you to our inclusive volleyball open gym experience. The open gym is a safe place for minorities, LGBTQIA+ and our allies. The opportunity is for all players to develop and sharpen new skills while having fun with competitive spirits.

Set It Off Volleyball Club is all about building community through a team dynamic. Preformed teams and free agent players are welcome!

The structure of play will be expressed by a Set It Off Volleyball Club member after warm-ups and before game play begins.

If you are a newcomer and would like free fun skills training, host club members will have players on site to help with fundamentals.

Volleyball rules and regulations will be align with NAGVA protocols.

In compliance with local/state/federal mandates, we reserve the right to cancel/terminate events without refund.

The host club team is called “Set It Off” for a reason, zero tolerance for unsportsmanlike behavior as respect for all people is required. With that being said, let’s have an amazing night of play!

The following rules and guidelines have been put in place to help schedule organized events that help match player skill levels and minimize no shows.
This event is for (BB,ABOVE) level. It is expected that you can pass, set, hit and defend with consistency at this Level.
This Meetup IS NOT for Recreation / Beginner level (B/C level) play.
Any new member wishing to play at this BB level event MUST contact the event organizer BEFORE signing up to confirm their experience and skill set. If you are not sure of your skill level, please join our meetup on Wednesdays at the same location and evaluate yourself.
As a courtesy to those signing up -- ONLY those signing up are guaranteed a spot to play. If you do not sign up or you are on the waiting list, but show up you will not play unless there is an open spot, e.g. someone leaves.
If you are not going to be able to attend please update your RSVP more than 12 hours before the event and let someone else have your spot. Think of it as your responsibility to the team. Individuals with 3 no-shows and/or 3 late bail outs will be removed from the group.
The Rules that we will be playing by are:

1. No open handed passing
2. No carries (that includes open handed dinks or "indoor dinks")
3. No hand setting over the net
4. No double contact (a player contacts the ball twice in succession or the ball contacts various parts of the player’s body successively)
5. No hitting the net
6. No illegal sets

All games are played by rally scoring.
