The Holiday Season…Here and in Zimbabwe

As the year draws to a close, the holiday season is once again upon us. This is the time of year where we reflect on all we’ve been blessed with, when we give thanks, spend time with family and loved ones and look forward to the traditional holiday feast in America.

But not everyone is so fortunate. In Zimbabwe life is quite different, all the more so if you are a child without a family to support and nurture you. For an orphan in Zimbabwe, unfortunately, this holiday season is no different from any other time of year.

This need not be, however, and with your help it can change.

Help make this holiday season special for a poor child in Zimbabwe and, in doing so, make it more meaningful for us all.

Heart4Kids is currently collecting children’s clothing and gifts as well as money to buy food, medicines, provide shelter, health care and other items so desperately needed. Imagine your child, or that of a loved one, in need of the very basics – clean water, nutritious food, and clothing – and then envision their joy and renewed faith in humanity when they receive these necessities thanks to the kindness of people like you and me. What better way to celebrate this season of love than by reaching out and making a difference in the life of an innocent child?

Please make a cash donation today. No donation is too small.

Or, if you would like more direct involvement, you are welcome to shop for the children yourself. And why not involve your own children? Take them to our Website at www.heart4kids.org and show them the pictures and videos of the orphans in Zimbabwe, children just like them, but without loving parents, warm homes and holiday feasts. Then explain the situation and help them understand that we are all God’s children, but some of us are less fortunate and that they can reach out and help change a life. Have them come to the store with you and help select the gifts using this guide:
 Lightweight, non-battery operated toys
 Underwear for boys and girls
 T-shirts
 School Supplies
 Candy
The children we support are between the ages of 1yr and 15 years old.
We kindly ask that you add $10 for every pound of gifts to help towards shipping costs.
