What fiber techniques, if any, do you practice?

I make scarves and clothing using traditional wet felting techniques and laminated (or nuno felting) where fine wool is felted through silk. I have done needle felting and spinning with a drop spindle. I have used hand felted cords and other fiber (yarn, ribbon, etc.) in jewelry.

What fiber techniques would you like to learn?

I am interested in learning more about what other fiber artists are doing, more about the properties of other fibers besides wool. I would like to explore dying. I need to become better at sewing. I am learning to make my own patterns. I have SO much to learn!!!

Which fiber art organizations/guilds do you belong to?

Recently joined SEFAA.

Introduction

I am a fiber artist working in felting techniques here in Atlanta. I mainly use wool and silk but enjoy incorporating other fibers and fabrics.
