Book Reading/Signing at Kleinert/James this Sat May 11!

Hello everyone and happy Spring!

We wanted to pass along this information from meetup member and poet/author, Gretchen Primack:

"I'm so pleased to tell you that my new book of poems, Kind, is out from lovely Post Traumatic Press. Kind looks at our relationship to (other) animals on the planet. It also explores what it's like to be the kind of person who cares about that sort of thing. There's original art inside by Susan Siegel, a truly brilliant artist--take a gander at the cover which is a detail from one of her paintings.
And happily, where there's a book, there are book parties! Refreshments, lovely people to chat with, reading, signing, a portion of proceeds to animal-advocacy organizations...."

Woodstock, NY: May 11, 6:30 pm Kleinert/James Gallery (across from the Golden Notebook bookstore, the host of the event) 34 Tinker Street, Woodstock NY

A well attended event. Gretchen gave a great reading from her very solid volume of poems. Buy the book! (preferably from Golden Notebook). Great to sample Treeline Cheese, too.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
