Thanks for such a great meeting, everyone.
I'm grateful for how all of you used public speaking practice to convey images. Chrystal, your clever idea of selecting pictures about which to give Table Topics descriptions led to clever responses. The speeches by Christy and Tania were full of words-turned-vivid images. Most people are visual thinkers and visual learners. As someone who is kind of an exception to that, lol, I've had to become more sensitive to that reality and adapt my communication methods accordingly. Toastmasters has been most helpful in that adaptation. It was great to spend time with a group that is strong and getting stronger at speaking-as-image-making.
