OUR PHILOSOPHY AND WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT:
Attract-ACTIVEwas created with the intention of bringing active people together to share events and activities that offer a large variety of experiences rarely found in other groups.Unlike other groups with a single organizer, EVERYONE in Attract-Active can post their own events. This meansthe calendar is always full of activities andwith about200 MAXOrganizers, there's a high chance you'll come across something you never knew existed. The experiences obtained from this group are meant to enrich us physically, mentally, spiritually, or socially.
HOW IT WORKS:
First 4 months in the group - PARTICIPATE
**IMPORTANT** Membership with Attract-active is SHORT-TERM so for your first 4 months in the group just SHOW UP and have fun! Meet some new people. Make some new friends. Share a new experience. Most of us don't bite. Most of us. VERY IMPORTANT, you must RSVP responsibly.2 Strikes (No Shows) and you're out.
AFTER first 4 months (**to extend your time in the group**)- RECIPROCATE
After your first 4 months of attending events, to remain part of the group, your next step is to post an idea for an event on the calendar and be prepared to host it. It can be an event to take place no sooner than a week away, or be as far out as a couple months. Make sure your event is detailed with info, date, time, place, costs, contact, etc. Be informative and give it some visual appeal to attract members. Reminders are sent when I'll be cleaning house at the end of each month.
Every 4-6 Months thereafter: Continuate (yes, I made that word up)
Once you've become an active member/organizer of the group, we hold everyone to posting 2 events a year (or as often as you like).
THE FINE PRINT:
You must be between the ages of 21 to 40 years of age.
No sniper posting events for your *FIRST* event (events that take place sooner than a week away).
No Co-Hosting: Exceptions to this rule may be approved so e-mail me.
No House parties: The use of a member’s home may only be allowed as a venue for a special event and must be approved prior to posting.
No bars/clubs: Exceptions are given if there is a compelling reason why the event must be in that venue or may be approved case-by-case basis (e.g. as an infrequent social/networking event).
RSVP responsibly. If you can't make an event, update your RSVP or note it in the comments section after as a courtesy to the organizer. 2 "No Shows" to RSVP-critical events and you're out.
