Thank you for showing interest in Attract-ACTIVE. We pride ourselves in creating a unique culture full of diverse people and activities. If you are tired of doing the same weekend routine of hitting the bars and clubs and yearn for something more, Attract-Active is for you. Our Calendar is always full of events and activities that range anywhere from weekend camping trips to learning self-defense class to even out of country travel with like-minded adventurous people.
OUR PHILOSOPHY:
Attract-ACTIVEwas created with the intention of bringing active people together to share events and activities that are not ordinary and expose others to new experiences they never knew existed. The experiences obtained from this group will enrich us (Physically, Mentally, Spiritually, Socially).
WHAT MAKES OUR GROUP DIFFERENT:
Unlike other groups with a single organizer, EVERYONE in Attract-Active is an event organizer and responsible for putting in what they get out by adhering to the guidelines of the group. The benefits of this structure are as follows:

HOW IT WORKS (90/90/120 Day Rule):
First 90 Days: Participate.
The easy part - SHOW UP! Meet some new people. Make some new friends. Share a new experience. Most of us don't bite. Most of us. VERY IMPORTANT, you must RSVP responsibly.2 Strikes (No Shows) and you're out.
Next 90 Days: Reciprocate
After your first 90 days (roughly 3 to 4 months) of attending events, next step is to post an idea for an event on the calendar and be prepared to host it. It can be an event to take place no sooner than a week away, or be as far out as a couple months. Make sure your event is thoroughly detailed with info, date, time, place, costs, contact, etc. Be informative. Be concise. Give it some visual appeal and promote it if needed.
Host an event every 120 Days
Once you've become an active member of the group, we hold everyone to posting a minimum of 3 events a year (1 every 4 months or as often as you choose).
THE FINE PRINT:
In order to maintain this concept and culture, a manifesto is implemented in which all members must adhere to.
You must be between the ages of 21 to 41 years of age.
No posting visions: only planned and well thought out events should be posted.
No Co-Hosting: Exceptions to this rule may be approved by the AA-Team
No Reoccurring Event Hosting: A single member is not allowed to host his or her event twice within a 6 month period.
No House parties: The use of a member’s home may only be allowed as a venue for an extraordinary event and must be approved prior to posting.
No bars/clubs: Exceptions are only given if there is a compelling reason why the event must be in that venue.
RSVP responsibly. If you can't make an event, update your RSVP. If you're unable to, note it in the comments section after as a courtesy to the organizer. 2 "No Shows" and you're out.
