Case study: campaign from Amnesty New Zealand

On 30 October we're meeting up to hear from Amnesty New Zealand who've just launched a new campaign: Trial by timeline -- and they're keen to give us quite the insider's look. They'll talk us through:

  • coming up with the campaign idea
  • building the campaign concept
  • integrating with other departments
  • and all the necessary nuts and bolts of making a large campaign happen including their early learnings

Opportunities like this don't come around often enough -- to hear the learnings from an actual and active campaign for social good from the campaign implementation team. Strongly urging all non-profit and community organisation staff in all capacities to attend and hear from the experience of Amnesty.

Really, really excited to hear from them. Give the campaign a go yourself before the 30th... absolutely fascinating: And save room for questions, too.

Tea, coffee and small nibbles will be provided. Thanks heaps to Amnesty for hosting this meetup at their office in Grafton.

Amnesty is an international organisation with supporters, members and activists in more than 150 countries and territories worldwide who campaign to protect human rights.

Really good hearing about social media campaign planning from a charity point of view

Still looking for a possible venue for this meetup. Any ideas anyone? May have a really small budget for it... $50 or something. But nothing large, unfortunately. Perhaps there are cafes or coffee houses that have a separate meeting room you know about? Please let me know if you've got any ideas. @lindseytalerico and [masked]

Hi Lindsay, I expect to be in Wellington on the 30th. But if that doesn't happen I'll be at this meeting. A topic that keeps turning up for my clients is mobile. How to take your front line transactions - database data collection and client look up - from the office PC to a mobile phone in the field. Without spend much of course.

Such a great idea for a topic. Now we need a speaker... hmmmm... know anyone?
