This meetup is for anyone interested in lisp programming in Auckland to share ideas, learn something about lisp, or hack code together. The name “lisp” includes Common Lisp, Clojure, Scheme, Emacs Lisp, and any other dialect of the lisp family of programming languages. But other topics that might be interesting to lisp hackers are also relevant. Meetups are friendly and quite informal, with social gatherings over a beer, as well as presentations around a topic. Usually they are held at Tangleball, the Auckland creative space, located in Newton.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
