Friday Drinks @ Tanuki Sushi & Sake Bar

It's winter and I bet you're all cold and bored, so I'd say it's high time for another meetup.

I'm in India for a few more weeks but we won't let that stop you all from enjoying a hot cup of sake with good company.

If someone could scribble 'meetup' on a sheet of paper with a marker pen (or better still print off the meetup logo) that would help newcomers find the group. Fold it into an A-frame and write on one side. Otherwise you'll just have to walk around asking until you find the group, which shouldn't be hard because it's not a huge place and wasn't crowded last time (but your mileage may vary). Feel free to organise amongst yourselves in the comments section.

I've set this to repeat weekly so you can plan ahead.

Have fun! Catch you in a few weeks.

Hi Newbies. I'm a bit concerned about the number of no-shows. I'm not going to point any fingers but I'd I'd like to know what's going on. Did you have trouble finding the place? Decide it was too cold to go out? Or...?

You guys suck! You RSVP and don't show. Me and Amar got one of the big tables so we could fit everyone. And now the staff is giving us nasty looks. Thanks!

Yeah...we are upstairs. I checked downstairs just in case, but no one was there. Thank you and I'll definitely let you know who does not show.

Okay, all the ones with the check mark in the red box next to their name did not show up. Which was everyone else except for me and Amar.

The great thing about meetup.com is there's a group for everyone -- this one is for people new to Auckland. It's not really set up to cater for long-term residents, although anyone is welcome to join (and leave if they find something more suitable) of course. Best of luck with your search for the perfect social group!

Alright everyone, we are leaving. I honestly hope everyone is well because I hate to think it is some b******* excuses for why you didn't show up. Catch you another time!

Hello, everybody! It's possible that I won't be able to make it tonight. The project I'm working on may keep me late. I'll attend if I'm done in time. Thanks!

just wondering who may want to book the table for the night? There was a bit of drama last time when I attended this meet up a few weeks ago, as there was no table for this meet up had been booked and we had to find some space that all of us was able to sit.
