The Audio Tech & Engineering Meetup is meant to serve as a community driven resource for the professional audio specialists in Nashville. Our main focus is to collaborate on solutions to technical issues and limitations faced in the studio, or live environment. Everyone is welcome to check us out, but you may feel more welcome if:

• You understand music production, and love the technologies that make it happen.

• You'd like to get familiar with, or contribute to, open source hardware and software that enhances daily production workflows.

• You're a local business that wouldn't mind the attention or help from group members.

Join us! We're currently organizing:

•  Seminars covering community anticipated topics, see our topic poll. Members can suggest and schedule meetups as well, get more details here.

• An outlet for members to share insight on current issues including technology, business, resources, etc..

• DIY design reviews! We're dedicated to the collaboration of engineering design, from entry level to pro, it's all about building a healthy form of excitement and challenge. Checkout the GitHub and Upverter websites, you'll find that open source hardware and software collaboration is free on both platforms. We have team accounts for group projects and to help beginners contribute. For professionals, there's also great opportunity to promote consulting, services, and product. It's understood that expertise isn't always free.

See you there!

(We encourage guest speakers, presenters, co-organizers, and sponsors. Just contact an organizer!)

I'm surprised by the level of growth I've seen since becoming an organizer, it's given me more confidence in my abilities.
